We are sharing the scenarios of the vicinity of a big pond (Lane No. 3) along with the street of pannajhil 5 no. Road, Ward No. 4 of Barasat Municipality within 70 metres from Barasat Barrackpore road Pin 700125 Noapara, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal since July 2026.

Every year they celebrate 26th January, 15th August, Rabindra Nazrul Jayanti and our most vital Durga Puja.This year we could not celebrate 15th August just beside our SRIJANI club as this street was under water on 9th October and on Mahalaya. They don't know how we will be able to celebrate the Durga Puja as we built the temple beside the club which is under water.
The level of water in this pond and over the street No. 3 of pannajhil 5 no. Road increases rapidly just starting rain.
The drainage water during rain is coming to this vicinity from the High Drain running along the Barasat Barrackpore Road.

Requested to look into the scenarios and permanently clear the waterlogging at the said location then all residents would be greatly benefitted.
