Grievances : I am a resident of Dollybhata, Nripen Saha Road, North Kazipara, Barasat, near Kazipara Railway Station, PIN – 700125. Through this application, I would like to draw your kind attention to the extremely poor condition of the internal road in our locality.
The road has deteriorated to such an extent that it has become difficult for residents, school children, senior citizens, and commuters to travel safely. During the rainy season, the road becomes muddy and waterlogged, making movement almost impossible. Uneven surfaces and damaged stretches create a serious risk of accidents for pedestrians, cyclists, two-wheelers, and emergency vehicles.
Despite being a residential area, the internal road has remained in a neglected condition for a long time. The poor infrastructure also affects sanitation, emergency services, and the overall quality of life of the residents.
Therefore, I sincerely request the Barasat Municipality to:
Conduct an immediate inspection of the road at Dollybhata, North Kazipara.
Sanction and undertake the construction or complete reconstruction of the damaged internal road with durable materials.
Ensure proper drainage arrangements alongside the road to prevent waterlogging and future damage.
Complete the work at the earliest in the interest of public safety and convenience.
We, the residents of the locality, sincerely hope that the Municipality will give due importance to this genuine public issue and take prompt action for the welfare of the community.
